Polytheism refers to the worship of or belief in multiple deities usually assembled into a pantheon of gods and goddesses, along with their own religions and rituals.

hebrews believed in God, only one god there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so a???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thx!!!!

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

yeah, because the Egyptians believed in sun gods and weather types of gods and stuff like that, and even believed that some of the kings were gods

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

Egyptians were polytheistic because they believed in many gods. Some important gods are Ra(sun god), Osiris (god of the dead and underworld), Isis ( Osiris's wife, goddess of protection). The Hebrews only believed in one god.

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

Most likely the Hebrews because they believed in the Bible while the Egyptians believed in their own polytheistic gods.

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

exodus is one of the chapters in the bible too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, because the hebrews believed in God, wheras the egyptions did not.
