I need help with a few problems.
What problems
I attached a file with the problems.
Start with the easy ones first. What is angle 10? (Hint: 116 degrees + Angle 10 = 180 degrees because consecutive interior angles add to 180 degrees).
Angle 10 would be 64. Because 180-116=64.
correct. Knowing angle_10, what is angle_9 ?
Wouldn't it be 116?
Correct. Knowing angle_10, what is angle_11 ? Hint: Angle_10 and angle_11 are corresponding angles.
That means angle 11 is also 64.
correct. It is given that segment EG is parallel to line 'e'. Segment EG makes 69 degrees with line 'a'. Therefore, line 'e' makes how many degrees with line 'a'?
Hint: They are corresponding angles.
That means it 69.
Yes. So on the right TRIANGLE that you see on the right hand side, the top angle on the left is 69 degrees, the top angle on the right is 90 degrees. Therefore the angle marked 12 is ? Hint: The internal angles of a triangle add to 180 degrees.
Would it be 21? I got 21 from adding 69 and 90 which is 159 and 180-159=21.
correct. Line 'c' and line 'd' are parallel. line 'c' makes 116 degrees with line 'a'. Therefore, line 'd' also makes 116 degrees with line 'a' because they are corresponding angles. Earlier you found line 'e' makes 69 degrees with line 'a'. Therefore, angle-6 equals ?
Sorry, I have to go now. But you can follow similar logic and solve for all the rest.
It's ok and thanks so much for your help!
Thank you so much for your help. I got 100%.
