How many solutions can be found for the equation 4z + 2(z – 4) = 3z + 11? (4 points) Infinitely many Two None One

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What level of math are you doing? Have you tried solving the equation to find out? If you aren't supposed to solve it and just determine by the order, have you tried moving all 'z' to one side to see what order it is?

OpenStudy (korosh23):

Well you have to add the like terms together.

OpenStudy (korosh23):

Then keep the z on one side while the other numbers are on the different side. I show you now

Aren't we supposed to walk the asker through the process, not do it for them? I thought the first step was to find out what they have already done and/or where they are stuck.
