What are three examples of professions that use geographic skills, and how do those professions use those skills?

I'll give you the first one I thought of, and it should lead to your second and third.
How about construction workers? When planning, oh say, a new building. They need to scout ahead, look for potential flaws in the geography of the land, make sure it's safe to build on. The difference being building on top a live volcano or building on top of an open field.
