OpenStudy (jjuden):

How does the replicated DNA strand compare to the original DNA strand? Are they the same or different?

Miracrown (miracrown):

DNA consists of two strands that are complementary to each other so like A pairs with T and G pairs with C. So during replication the strands unzip and the dna is replicated

Miracrown (miracrown):

so if the top strand was like ATGCA then the copied strand would be complementary so it would be TACGT
