Can someone please help me, will medal & fan! What are the intercepts of y = 4x − 2? (2, 0) and (0, 0.5) (2, 0) and (0, 5) (2, 0) and (0, -2) (0.5, 0) and (0, -2)
Using the general form of a line y=mx+b Where m=slope and b=y-intercept, You can see the Y-intercept is -2 To graph the line, mark the point (0, -2). Then mark another point one unit over and 4 units up from the point you just made. Draw your line through the two points, and you're done. like i said on previous post x-intercept when y = 0 so replace y by 0 and then solve for x
So its (0.5, 0) and (0, -2) @KrazyKricket
