@SolomonZelman @Nnesha @ganeshie8
@iGreen
3 4/11 is approximately 3.36, do we round this to 3.5 or 3?
It says 1/2? Not quite sure
"Estimate by first rounding each number to the nearest 1/2 ."
That's what you put at least
Thats what it say's but is it the Hundreds or tenths? or do I have to convert the whole number to an improper fration
1/2 is the same thing as 0.5 We're rounding to the nearest 0.5 Is 3.36 closer to 3.5 or 3?
3.5
Yes, so we round 3 4/11 to 3.5 2 1/10 is 2.1, is this closer to 2 or 2.5? @ajanijones
It closer to 2 because if its 2.5 then that would be closer to 3
Yes..so we have 3.5 * 2 Multiply that
7 :)
