OpenStudy (technodynamic):

Sugar and water is a physical change because there is "no change" in its identity. When water evaporates, the sugar crystals will still remain the same as sugar. Physical Change = No Change (in chemical components) & it can be turned back to its original substance. Chemical Change = Forms a new substance All answers are correct. I would like to add that chemical change can also have a color change. In this case, there is no color change. We know for sure that it is a physical property.
