maybe a or c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we got a genius over there :D well, it's A or C. but which one? well, the coriolis force (which is the force that the earth's rotation has on the surface currents) makes everything on the northern hemisphere turn counter-clockwise, and everything on the southern hemisphere turn clockwise. so C is right. BUT: the coriolis force is so small that it is easily overridden by wind, temperature and stuff like that. so in practice, the coriolis force has no influence on your everyday whirlpool.
