TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Well to have a website encrypted you have to set it up on your server and all. And we know how slow OS's servers are ;-; And the downside of getting it encrypted is that each time you log in and log out, it has to encrypt and decrypt it. And that just causes OS to load latex, make downloading and uploading a whole lot slower. More people would rather have a faster and not encrypted OS than a slower and encrypted OS.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Maybe @c0decracker @e.mccormick @Compassionate would know a little more about it :P

OpenStudy (compassionate):

A better question is, why should it?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

lol that Brainly tab opened up on his computer

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Well, it is an open web site where content is supposed to be available for review. Not exactly a huge need to secure open content... That, and the speed hit, are probably factors in it.

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

many reason... for example its OPEN study its a open domain, any information on here is 100% public
