When a neutrally charged atom loses an electron to another atom, the result is the creation of two charged atoms. two negatively charged atoms. two positively charged atoms. two neutrally charged atoms.

@pooja195 @undeadknight26 @Abhisar I think the answer is the first option. Am I correct?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yes, that's correct. The atom which loses electron will get positively charged and the one which gains an electron will get negatively charged.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup that's exactly what I thought. Thank you!
