Pleaseee Help!! I Need To Learn How To Expand The Series And Evaluate.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sum_{k=1}^{5} [8(k+1)]\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can just plug in 1 to 5 in series and evaluate, that's what it's saying.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So where the 5 is i put 1? I Still don't get how to expand it or anyhting..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, I mean, you just have to plug in 1 for k, then 2, all the way up to 5, because this k=1 is where you start, and then k = 5 is where you end.
