Question

Hello . Need some help with my bio lab report ! currently doing a report on test for gases ( oxygen,hydrogen,carbon dioxide).... the teacher would like me to write a brief discussion for the experiment . For oxygen, i wrote oxygen supports combustion, so a good way to test for oxygen gas is to use a glowing splint because it will rekindle when oxygen is present. but i dont know what to write for carbon dioxide ... any help ? thanks in advance

Well, what does carbon dioxide do to flames? Hint: like to humans. And so how would you test that?
