OpenStudy (anonymous):

how many times does a bullet rotate in a mile after it leaves the muzzle of a M1A1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

depends what grain is the bullet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25.1 gram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bullet spin rate is found by: Muzzle velocity times 720 ------------------------- = RPM Twist rate in inches

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok lol I think I need a bigger gun to reach that distance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but hay bro thanks I forgot the formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how far were you trying to go?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a mile with thirty rotates at least takes down atleast 200pd animal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea a M1A1 wouldnt make it that far with less than 30 rotates

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thought if i got a extensions just maybe but anything bigger would add weight and trying to keep the weight down is a concern wat rifle would you reconmmend ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and a 50 to dam big for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats all i would be able to recomend is a .50 lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or if you think you can handle a .338 try a McMillan Tac-338

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or a Accuracy International L115A3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a 1 mile shot is a hard shot to take if you wanna still be lethal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol that wont be a problem im a 10 10 shot accu. and ik how to shoot 50.s they are just big and maybe a A3 will do im not sure but would the spin still take the cake I promise nothing that 200pds is gonna just take a lick wats the grain on it??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sethRB26DETT

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can get different grains for a l115A3

OpenStudy (anonymous):
