One group of students designed an experiment to demonstrate the interaction between Earth spheres. The steps of the experiment are listed below. Place a heap of mud on a glass tray. Make a hole with a finger in the middle of the heap. Pour 50 mL vinegar, 20 mL liquid soap, and two drops of red food color into the hole. Pour 30 mL baking soda solution into the hole. Observe smoke and red liquid flowing out of the heap of mud. The experiment most likely demonstrates the interactions between the atmosphere and biosphere
