These four finch species lived together on an island. Each species ate something different: large seeds, small seeds, insects, and leaves. As more people moved to the island and built houses, the available finch food changed. There were fewer seeds of any kind for the finches to eat. We would expect, over time, A) that the seed eating species would disappear. B) there would be little change in the finch species. C) that the seed eating birds would eat something else. D) all the finch species would gradually become extinct. Picture: http://www.usatestprep.com/modules/gallery/files/37/3773/3773.jpg
@Abhisar
What do you think it should be?
I think it is B
The change in food should compel the birds to change their diet, so it should be either B or D. I am not sure which one is correct doe.
@Abhisar I honestly think B is incorrect. If there is a change in food then there will be a \(big\) change...
Sorry, I mean B or C. @EclipsedStar , may be you are right cz I am more inclined towards C.
D is a possibility also, right? :/
Tea it would be a big change in the bird's diet, I say C or D cause what if they couldn't eat anything else.
I don't think they'll extinct. Because adaptation will come into play.
*yea*
I agree with that so it may come down to C
True, because the species could adapt to eating insects, etc...
I agree
Ok @EclipsedStar could you give @Abhisar a medal so you guys can both get medals.
I have another question @EclipsedStar could you help me with it?
I'll see what I can do. XD Sure XD
Ok thank you! I'll tag you to that question when I close this one.
