what is cotx/cscx equivalent to? :]

OpenStudy (alyssa_xo):

rewrite each in terms of sine and cosine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cot = 1/tan = cos/sin csc = 1/sec There's no way to cancel that....

OpenStudy (alyssa_xo):

csc(x) = 1/sin(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lolllllllllllllllllllllllllll okay, ignore that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks, it's cosx

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Yup Just to reassure its cos(x) Calculator reassurance: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=cotx%2Fcscx

OpenStudy (alyssa_xo):

yeah, division = multiplication by the reciprocal so \(\dfrac{\dfrac{cos(x)}{sin(x)}}{\dfrac{1}{sin(x)}}=\dfrac{cos(x)}{\cancel{sin(x)}}*\cancel{sin(x)}\)

Thank youu
