OpenStudy (dtan5457):

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

this is a -420 degree angle...so its going clock wise...then i believe the 60 degree angle ends up in the 4th quadrant. it's sec and cos, so it's positive

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

is this... \[\frac{ 1 }{ \sqrt{3}/2 }\]

OpenStudy (kainui):

Nope, I think you must have messed something up, I did my work slightly differently let me see if I can find your mistake

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

actually. i think it's 1/(1/2)

OpenStudy (kainui):

Yeah all your reasoning is perfectly right, it's just you wrote the wrong number. You corrected yourself though, 2 is the right answer. =P

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

lol it's because for a second i inversed sec as tan for some weird reason. just realized it was cosine

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

thanks again

OpenStudy (kainui):

cool yeah no problem
