OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

use the sine rule! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u write it out so i can solve for the final answer?

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

do you know what the sine rule is ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sineA/a = sineB/b = sineC/c

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

yep! So how do you think you would solve for angle A ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sineA/23 ?

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

excellent ^_^ Now we know SineA/23 = ? (use the information they gave you in the diagram... so B and b)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk what to do after that..

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

look at your sine rule; sineA/a = sineB/b We know sineA/23 = sineB/b So using the diagram, B= 50 and b =19. Therefore sineA/23 = sine50/19
