Need to find the missing angle

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

....which one? there are two missing angles and one missing side

OpenStudy (adi3):

missing side not angle by using Pythagorean Theorem

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

(6.5)^2 + (2.7)^2 = (missing side)^2

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

oh you said angle earlier. Well basically you want to find the missing side which is the hypotenuse. Pythagoras' theorem states that in right angle triangles, a^2 + b^2 = c^2 (where c = hypotenuse) SO in your question we know a = 2.7 and b = 6.5 Now substitute a and b into pythagoras' theorem to find c^2.

OpenStudy (adi3):

okay whts next

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

\[\sqrt{6.5 \times 2.7} = missing side\]
