Evaluate log (2x + 8) - log(x - 4) = 1 @jim_thompson5910 @Hero @SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

@iambatman

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

When you subtract logs, you actual divide. so: log (2x + 8) - log(x - 4) = 1 log[(2x-8)/(x-4)] = 1

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

x+4?

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

Is not 1 = log 10?

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

@butterflydreamer

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):
