OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

okay, multiply c and d to find the area of the square part, then multiply a and b then divide it by 2 to find the area of the triangle part then add them together to find the entire area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the area of the dimensions individually and add them together, you're given all the information, so it's not too bad, what's the area of a triangle and area of a rectangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

option c

Thank you!!! Also @BloomLocke367 Thank u SO FREAKING MUCH for that omg i think i understand this now! :D

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

@rizzu you're correct, but please no direct answers.. and @CREEPYMLPMASTER No problem! That's what I'm here for.. Just tag me in any questions you have and I'll try my best to help :)

THANK YOU!

lower side of figure is rectangle so area of rectangle=length*breadth=16*18=288 upper half of figure is triangle and area of triangle=1/2*b*a=1/2*28*11=154 so total area of poster=288+154=442

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@BloomLocke367 its not direct answer see my explanation bro

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

you still gave the answer.. try explaining it first next time :)
