The scatter plot shows different students' grade point averages (GPA) and scores on a test.
What is the equation of the graphed linear model?
y = ? x + ?http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1549000_1549500/1549112/4/7390c9fb9a63b8e12222a8022220158e8dc6e5ae/MS_IMC-141014-181216.jpg

y=15x+40?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
first find slope
then put thee slope in point slope form (y-y1)=Slope(x-x1)
then start to slove the equation until you get to Slope intercept form Slopex+B
and finally you have your answer
OpenStudy (anonymous):
did that help you in sloving the problem
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Sorry that made zero sense to me :/

here
\[100-70/4-2=30/2\]

5.5=15
OpenStudy (anonymous):
right?...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
that was the slope now simplify that and it become 15
so your equation would be (y-70)=15(x-2)
now you slove from here
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Ok thx
OpenStudy (anonymous):
y=40x+2.6?
