OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

What do u think?

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

The volume formula of a cylinder is \[\Pi r ^{2}h\]r being the radius and h being the height. Since we want to leave this in terms of pi, we just multiply \[r ^{2}h\]And then put the pi back on when we're done.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Since you know the diameter of the cylinder and not the radius, you'll need to figure the radius out. To do that, all you have to do is divide the diameter by 2.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Once you figure out the volume of the cylinder, we'll move on to the cone part of it.
