in which one of the following sentences includes a prepositional phrase? A. Lois treasured her time off B. Because it was raining, Gladys stayed indoors C. He came when I was away D. Terry and Rowena met Craig at the mall I think B, and A are wrong.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Actually I think B contains a prepositional phrase.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do too, but i dont think its the right answer, if that makes sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think that it is D because "at the mall" is the prepositional phrase.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i was thinking as well! @trinitybagwell

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Huh, I guess I was wrong then. :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that sentence does have one, however its not what the answer they were looking for because im learning about specific prepositional phrases and how they're used D was correct. Does that make sense, or did i just completely lose you? @KyanTheDoodle

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):
