The greatest common factor (GCF) is the greatest numbers that can be multiplied, to get that number. To find the GCF is easy. In these problems, it is easier. First you find the greatest number (75) and see if it goes into 200 evenly. It does not. Then you do the second biggest number (50) see if it goes into 200 evenly. It does. Now you see if it goes into 75 evenly. It does not. Now the next biggest number. 25. See if it goes into 200 evenly. It does. See if it goes into 75 evenly. It does. Now, you have your GCF. It is 25.
