@KiaKat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just do 200 divided by 75 @trinajoy

OpenStudy (kiakat):

Well first you can take the numbers you have up there for the answers and see if they can divide into 200 and 75

OpenStudy (kiakat):

No dont do that, that isnt right D:

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

@trinajoy Do you still need help with this problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes Let me get it up Thank you :)

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The GCF is the greatest common factor. The GCF of two numbers is the largest number that divides evenly into the two given numbers. You can solve this problem two ways. 1) One way is to take advantage of the fact this is a multiple choice question. Since you are given choices, and the answer must be one of them, try each choice. Divide each choice into both numbers. If it does not divide evenly into one or both of the numbers, eliminate it. If a choice does divide evenly into both numbers, then keep it in mind. After you try this will all the choices, the largest number that divides evenly into both 200 and 75 is the answer.

2) The other way of doing it is to actually follow a procedure that will give you the GCF. This method is good even if you are not given choices.
