please help

OpenStudy (igreen):

It has to be in order of highest degree, degree is the exponents.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am sorry i do not under stand

OpenStudy (igreen):

A. \(xy^3 + 4x^5y + 10x^3\) B. \(x^4y^2 + 4x^2y + 8x\) C. \(-9x^4y^2 + 4x^3y^5 + 10x^2\) D. \(x^6y^3 + 4x^4y^8 + x^2\) The degree of \(xy^3\) is 4, because we add the exponents, x has an exponent of 1(you just don't see it) and y has an exponent of 3. 3 + 1 = 4 The next term has a degree of 6, because x has a 5, and y has a 1. 5 + 1 = 6 First term = 4 Second term = 6 It has to be greatest to least, so A is incorrect. Can you see which one is correct now?

i am sorry if it is wrong but i think it is D
