ok so lets find the least common denominator of 1/2 and 5/6 first, in this case it's 6.
So we need to find the number halfway between 3/6 and 5/6. So the number between 3/6 and 5/6 is 4/6.
Now lets reduce 4/6 by dividing the top and bottom number by 2:
4/2=2 and 6/2= 3
Your answer is 2/3 :)
