The morning after the Gleiwitz incident, German forces invaded Poland from the north, south, and west. As the Germans advanced, Polish forces withdrew from their forward bases of operation close to the Polish–German border to more established lines of defense to the east. After the mid-September Polish defeat in the Battle of the Bzura, the Germans gained an undisputed advantage. Polish forces then withdrew to the southeast where they prepared for a long defense of the Romanian Bridgehead and awaited expected support and relief from France and the United Kingdom. Those two countries had pacts with Poland and had declared war on Germany on 3 September, though in the end their aid to Poland in the September campaign was very limited.

Also, it's important to note the alliances in World War 2. The axis was associated with Nazi Germany/Italy/Spain/Japan and its allies, while the Allies were France/U.K./America and their allies

Oh So D wasn't correct it was C , because France and the United Kingdom sided with Poland to declare war on Germany ? Is that correct ? @Poke~Master314

Yes ma'am :D also with what @Jamierox4ev3r said, remembering the axis and allies could have eliminated a right off the bat, also reviewing the topic would have allowed you to eliminate B as well because Poland is small compared to the Germanic military.
