OpenStudy (quickstudent):

How do I find the common denominator here?

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

I am trying to simplify this expression: (325/x) - (325/x +15) I know that I have to multiply the denominator from the first fraction by something so that it will be the same as the denominator in the second fraction, but how do I do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you get it?

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

But if I multiply x * x + 15, wouldn't that make x^2 + 15x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply the numerators first and then subtract the two and tell me what you get
