"A 350g mass is suspended from your spring and allowed to reach the equilibrium position. Then you pull the mass down 3 cm further and release it. What would be the resultant force on the mass at the moment of release?" I know that what I need to do is find the force, but I'm not sure how I should do that. If someone could walk me through this problem, I'd really appreciate it.
