It looks like the only thing it is good for is checking your answers. In a way that is kinda valuable. But what takes away from that value is what is required by the instructor/school. I see it as non-valuable if instructor/school only require solution. I sorta hate online tests and homework because it seems like most require just a final answer. Then students already have access to just answers. There are a lot of online math calculators that will do just the answer for ya. 
So no in away I see this app as problematic for today's student. 
The internet/technology is so great while such a crutch. It is great because of the many resources it offers. I think it is crutch due to what I just said about some of the places were you can just get an answer .

Who cares about a final answer. You won't have to waste your time doing the work.

As @myininaya stated, it is for checking answers, but not if you wanna learn.
