So is it completely correct?
All is correct except the 6th one..
You could not make the proper wordings for your question that you need to design..
So, how do you think I should word it? How do I improve?
I am also not very good at it, but I can figure out that your question is not suiting the definition of permutation.. Then also I try..
Mary wants to arrange \(8\) different types of Flowers on a shelf. In how many ways, she can arrange choosing 4 different flowers at a time? This is what I think.. You can refer other users if you want to clear it more.
Wait, how's this?
"In how many ways, she can arrange choosing 4 different flowers at a time?", use this line to ask question at the end.. I mean, make this as your last line.
She is not arranging only 4 out of 8, she is arranging all 8 but choosing 4 flowers at a time, so in your wordings, this meaning must be clear when read..
This you are getting or not? Suppose you have two books, like book 1 and book 2, in how many ways you can arrange them? Simply two ways, firstly book 1 and then book 2, other way is Book 2 and then book 1. So, you are arranging both the books, but choosing one book at a time. It is not like you are arranging only 1 book here, you have arranged both the books at the same time.. Getting now?
OK:)
