So, I´ll work with a general one, so I´ll find the area of the circle and then by multiplying by "x" you would get the area of the cilinder. The area of the circle is defined by the equation: \[A_o = \pi r ^{2}\] So, therefore, the area of the cilinder is: \[A _{cil}=x \pi r ^{2}\]

volume is pi r^2 h they tell you r is 4 and h (they call it "x") is 13 that means erase the "r" and put 4 in its place: pi * 4^2 *h also, replace the h with 13: pi *4^2*13 can you finish ?
