Suppose triangle ABC is similar to triangle PQR. Also, angle A measures 35° and angle B measures 50°. What is the measure of angle R?

OpenStudy (unanimoose):

No matter how much you dialate a triangle it will always have the same angle measurements, so ABC and PQR have the same angles. Knowing that a triangle has angles that sum up to 180 degrees you can add the measurements of A and B, subtract them from 180 and the difference will be the measure of angle R.
