Ok, well I went and read the story, it will be really difficult to give you a thesis statement without knowing exactly what your paper is about. I am going to assume that it is a lit crit paper and give you a thesis based on the topics I would have chosen. Maybe it will at least give you a decent jumping off point.



A woman's covitous (not sure that's spelled correctly, sorry) desperation to walk through life draped in the luxuries of the elite are matched by her husbands deep desire's to supply her with happiness as they ironically sacrifice themselves, mind, body, and soul, for but a single night of fictitous oppulence.
