Evaluate the Riemann sum for (x) = x^3 − 6x, for 0 ≤ x ≤ 3 with six subintervals, taking the sample points, xi, to be the right endpoint of each interval. Give three decimal places in your answer. Explain, using a graph of f(x), what the Riemann sum represents.

length of the whole interval is 3-0 the number subintervals we want is 6 so we need each of those to be of equal length that is we want the subintervals to have length of (3-0)/6 it sounds like we get to choose the right endpoint of each interval to be our sample point... |dw:1425260452731:dw|
