In problem set 4, I don't understand the difference between the functions "build_coder" and "build_encoder." Aren't they both designed to produce the same exact dictionary? Maybe I don't understand exactly what the question is asking.

Never mind - I realize now, that they just want you to create the coder so that you don't have to write it for both the encoder and decoder.

I don't remember the specifics, but I the coder was the more complex function that you had to create, and the encoder and decoder were just simple functions that called the coder function in different ways.
