can somebody help me with this i'm having trouble. Solve the following systems of equations using the graphing method. What type of system is it? Name the solution if there is one. 5. x+y=5 -x+y=3

OpenStudy (misty1212):

Hi!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

graph shmaph add and get \[2y=8\]making \(y=4\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? im sorry im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is \(5+3\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha oh ok I get it:] how would I show work for a homework question like that??

OpenStudy (misty1212):

no idea since you really do not want to graph those two lines you get \(y=4\) making \(x=1\) and the solution \((1,4)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get x =1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x+4=5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never mind I got it:] what type of solution and system is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or \[-x+4=3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what type of solution and system is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
