Alright, so the axis of symmetry is, well, where things are symmetrical, right?

OpenStudy (hitaro9):

Where could you lay down a line so that it were the same on both sides?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

On 0?

OpenStudy (hitaro9):

Right, but is that for x=0? Or for y=0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

On the x-axis

OpenStudy (hitaro9):

If need be, try drawing both lines and seeing which makes more sense. You can draw points to help you out x=0 may have the points (0,1) (0,2) (0, -1) etc. y=0 has the points (1,0) (2,0) (-1,0) etc

OpenStudy (hitaro9):

Right, it is the x axis, but which of those 2 is the x axis?
