Explain the following quote. Answer in complete sentences. An analogy is like instant coffee—it can wake you up, but it isn't the real thing." —Peter da Silva

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

Did you try to explain it first? Try and do it yourself and when you mess up I will correct you. :)

did u read my message to u

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

Yes. It is trying to say that an analogy offers a quick solution but it isn't always the best solution, or the most accurate. So an analogy is comparing two things, but the two things are not so alike as you may think. Is an analogy, instant coffee? No an analogy is an imaginary thing coffee is physical. Does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes a little but the thing i wrote you would that be good for it or do i need a better why to say it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Joel_the_boss

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

No its saying this, An analogy is a quick comparison , but in the end its not an accurate one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thank you so much
