Find the slope and the y-intercept of the equation 4x + 5y = -9. A 1 B -1 C 2 D -2 E -3

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

first put your equation in y = mx + b form...the m represents the slope and the b represents the y intercept

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

you gonna give it a try...your basically just solving for y (1) subtract 4x from both sides (2) divide both sides by 5 The number in the m position is the slope and the number in the b position is the y intercept
