More of my story from Ch1 to the end of Ch5 by request of @horsegirl27

I took one breath and pushed off of the ground. I was soaring through the sky.The wind in my hair,the nice breeze on my face.I looked down and saw the cars and the tiny people.I saw the big library and City Hall.To my sides there were fluffy clouds all around me. Suddenly,I'm brought back to the real world. My teacher is standing up front calling my name. She looks as if she's said it quite a few times. "Well Sara? Do you know the answer?" All eyes are on me including my crush's. I blush and say,"Um, I'm sorry what was the question?" I hear snickers from the right side of the room. "The question is, When was Thomas Jefferson born?." My teacher glares at me like an evil witch. "I'm sorry Mrs.Craig, I don't know." I burrow deeper into my seat as my teacher makes this weird snorting sound and says, "Ok then,Megan do you know the answer?". Megan turns and gives me an evil grin, "Yes Mrs.Craig, the answer-". She's cut off,thankfully,as the bell rings. As I get up to go I feel my teachers red hot glare following my every move.I get to my locker without anything happening but my luck stops short. As I'm grabbing my bag I hear a voice. It's only a tiny voice and I barely hear it. "Hi" I turn and there's a boy standing beside me.He looks a little older than me but he's so quiet. "Hi." I say back as I pull my hood over my head. I look at him he's clad in black like me. His hair is jet-black and in a cute Zan type of hairstyle. "Why'd you put your hood on?" He looks at me with green-grey eyes that look almost childlike. " Um, Sorry it's a habit." I say still looking him over. "Oh ok, well I was wondering...do you want to...um maybe sometime we could..do you want to study sometime?" I must've looked shocked cause he immediately said "Sorry i'll leave."and started walking away . "No! no, it's just no one has asked me that before." I look away and he says "That's ok..i've never asked anyone. End of Chapter 1(Ihave to post it by chapter apparently so yea..)

START OF CHAPTER 2 I get home and go to the kitchen to grab a snack. I can't stop thinking about that guy. What had he said his name was? Antonio? Anthony? I can't remember. There was something about him. He wasn't exactly cute.His ears were kind of big and his nose was slightly crooked. My crush,Jake, looked way better. Jake is perfect. I smile to myself as I grab a bag of Takis and head to my room. I immediately get on my computer to go on Openstudy for homework help. I put on one of my favorite songs ,Teenagers by MCR, and go into study mode. I see my friend Aryanna is on but i can't focus.I'm sidetracked thinking about that guy. Maybe he was a Jock playing a stupid prank. Maybe Megan set him to this. I can just see her laughing at me. I sigh and continue with my homework . He's still on my mind though. I'm confused, where did he come from? Why did he ask me of all the girls to study with him? By the time I get done with my homework it's already 7:00, it took me almost 4 hours to do my homework thinking about that guy! Well at least it's done now right? I fall asleep thinking about Quantime Physics and that guy.End of Chapter 2

Start of Chapter 3 The next day at school everything goes by as usual. I have English then Physics and so on till lunch. I take my pack lunch and go sit at a table in the far back with my friend Aryanna. As soon as I sit down she's like "So who's got a crush on you?" I tell her everything she's my best friend. She's like my twin sister only she's a year and two months older than me. "Ha Ha very funny, I don't even know his name and plus I don't see him here." "Is that him?" I look where she's pointing and I see him coming my way. "Yes. Oh my gosh that's him. Why is he coming over here?" I look at her and she mouths 'oooooh' as he walks up. "Hi,is this seat taken?" He motions to the only empty seat at our table. "Ummm..no it's not taken." I hear Aryanna leave and feel my face get hot. He sits down and we both eat in uncomfortable silence for a while. Then I finally speak up, I was getting tired of silence "So,what did you say your name was?" I look at him, he looks as uncomfortable as me. "My name's Avery and yours is Sara?" I notice now that he has a sort of accent Spanish? Italian? "Yea that's my name, How did you know?" He shocks me with his answer."I'm in your American History class" My face reddens as I realize that he probably saw me not know the answer to that question. He looks at me and says "Don't worry about that question, you should see me in Math." How did he know what i was thinking? After that we eat our lunches quietly until he says" So..are we..still o for later?". I nod and he says "OK that's great , ill see you after school" and then our lunch period is over. (I thought I'd enter here but it's not the end of the chapter)

So school continues on. I don't see Avery all day. That is until my American History class. I go in and sit at my usual seat in the back. As I wait for class I continue drawing my Manga girl. Then out of no where I hear that same soft voice I heard at my locker. Avery is sitting beside me in the chair that is never taken. "That's beautiful, I've never seen anyone draw like that." I cover my picture up and say "Thanks" as I put it away. I look at him,his ears are red and he's staring straight ahead. When class ends he slips me a note that says "216 Oakwood St. 6:30 see you there. ". I watch him as he walks out the door and slip the note into my pocket. When I get to my locker I see Megan standing there. When I walk up she say" Soo who's your boyfriend?" she gives me an ugly smirk. "First of all, He's not my boyfriend and second of all it's none of your business what he is to me." I glare at her and she comes back saying "Oh yeah? if he's not your boyfriend who is he? I've never seen him before." So that rules out Megan putting him to it."I don't have to tell you anything." I say and then I walk away. End Of Chapter3

Hmm. Mystery kid no one has seen before... interesting. If you hadn't already planned out the story and are quite into it, I would have an epic plot twist. I can tell it to you if you want. It would be like in a book I read

Next two chapters..Start of Chapter 4 It's 6:15 and i'm wondering whether I should ditch him or if I should just go. I decide to go and I grab my books and some pepper spray,this guy could be a creep, and I head out. When I get to the house I give it a good look over. It's a pretty well kept house,white with a brown roof and a little garden. I go up and ring the door bell and it plays a deep Ding Dong tune. When he opens the door he doesn't seem like a creep. He says "Hey got your books?" and lets me in. He shows me to the basement and the whole way through the house i'm like "why the basement?" in my mind. Well when I get down there I see why. He's turned his basement into his own 'man cave'. There are posters of his favorite bands and t.v. shows. Many of them are my favorites as well. There's a t.v. and an Xbox by the wall and a couch across from them.As we get closer I notice there's a table with his books and some chips on it. We sit down and get to studying. We spend two hours swapping notes,eating chips, and talking about school and then I have to leave. (not the end of chapter)

When i'm about to leave he grabs my shoulder to turn me around but i'm not a fan of being touched. I shrug him off and look at him. His ears are red like they were in class and he says"Sorry. I was wondering...um do you want to do this again sometime? Maybe next week?" I stare at him for a minute then say "Maybe. We'll see." and I leave. When Iget home my mom is asking like a million questions but I just shake them off and go to bed. End of Chapter 4

Start of Chapter 5 The next day is Saturday so I sleep in pretty late. When i get up I just stay in my sweats and go to grab some breakfast. I bring my breakfast up to my room and get to doing my book report and my research essay which,thanks to Avery, I have a topic for. I get on my computer and look up what I need to and pull up Openstudy. To my surprise Aryanna is on and she asks me how it went. I just tell her nothing really happened, that I have an essay topic now and that Avery's house is pretty cool. She has to get off and so I just finish my book report. I talk to a few other friends on Openstudy and then I go back to sleep. When I wake up it's a little past 3:00. I hop into the shower, get dressed, and eat some lunch. By then i'm pretty bored so I go to take a walk through the woods behind my house. I find my favorite spot and sit down on the same mossy log. My 'spot' is a big clearing in the middle of the woods with fallen logs covered in moss. It's nice and quiet, all you hear is the birds tweeting and the crickets chirping. It's a good place to sit and think for hours. I found this place when I was just a little kid. It's kind of..a comfort zone. As I sit on my favorite mossy log I replay everything that has happened over the last few days. The question mess up,when I first met Avery, the time at lunch, the note passing, and finally the studying at his house.(not the end)

My thoughts are interrupted as I hear a crunch of twigs on the opposite side of me. On the side that I never walk through because I never have the need to. I get up and grab a near by stick just in case it's an animal.I see a leg,then an arm, than a whole body. Suddenly Jake is standing three feet away from me. We just look at each other then I say "What are you doing here?" It came out sounding more irritated then I had meant it to. I looks at me started and then says "These woods are connected to my dad's backyard. I just thought i'd take a look through them. The question is what are you doing here?" I drop the stick and shift my weight before I say "I've known these woods since I was little. This was kind of..a private area...Was." I look pointedly at him and he says "Oh my bad, you could've said you didn't want company."Then he turns around and I hurry to say "No, you can stay.. I was just saying.". Then I sit down willing him to sit or leave. He comes to sit down and he's so close I could touch him. I feel my heart beating in my chest.

We sit in peace for a while just looking at all of the nature around us. Finally he speaks up "You're Sara right?". I don't know whether I should be happy he knows my name or embarrassed because he wasn't sure. "Yea that's me." He looks at me and says "Mm..Why are you always so quiet? I've always wondered why you barely talk.". My heart races and im just like "he thinks about me?" but I act calm when I say "I never really have anything to say...i'm just..not talkative." I turn to see what he thinks and I find myself nose to nose with him.We just look at each other for a moment and instead of pulling away he kisses me.

It was just a light kiss and it could've been an accident but I felt his soft warm lips on mine for a second or two before he pulled away. He had wide eyes and he says "Um..I didn't m..I have to go.."and then he leaves. I sit there for a while and think "WOW! I just got my first kiss! By Jake! and when I finally go home it's dinnertime. I hurry up and eat,then I go to my room to tell Aryanna everything that just happened. I call her and tell her everything from beginning to end and she's as shocked as me. Then we get off and go to bed. I dream about that kiss all night and throughout all of the next day. End of Chapter 5
