Hiya, what's your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

You'll need to change the denominators again. So what is the least common multiple of 3 and 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 and 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you cant lower an odd number

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Actually, you can multiply 3x4 and 4x3 to get the number 12. When you do that, you can get the same denominator. That's what i"m talking about when I say the least common multiple. It's basically the lowest number that the 2 numbers have in common. I'm not really good at explaining this :/

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

I have to go so maybe @acxbox22 , @chosenmatt or @mathslover can help you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3/12 and 2/12

OpenStudy (chosenmatt):

OpenStudy (chosenmatt):
