OpenStudy (conqueror):

A verb is an action word.

OpenStudy (aamirgsen):

Okay, so basically linking verbs connect the subject and the verb in a sentence. A verb is an action word. In 1 the subject is Tomas, and the verb is is. In 2 the subject is He, and the verbs are likes and practices. In 3 the subject is parents, and the verb is proud. In 4 the subject is Tomas, and the verb is became. In 5 the subjects are notes and music, and the verbs are sounded and seemed. In 6 the subject is he and the verb is wrote. In 7 the subject is he, and the verb is formed. In 8 the subject is he, and the verb is performed.

OpenStudy (aamirgsen):
