OpenStudy (chloed18):

Why was George Washington a hero?

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Because his name was George and every George is a cool person.

OpenStudy (isry98):

Do you have answers to choose from?

OpenStudy (chloed18):

@isry98 Nope.

OpenStudy (isry98):

Ok then it is largely up to your opinion. Here is some facts about him and you make up your mind what things make him the most heroic

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

What accomplishments did George Washington achieve during his life? What did he help establish?

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Oh okay, apparently he commanded the Continental Army, so that's kinda important.

OpenStudy (isry98):

He successfully crossed a river in to Trenton New Jersey to defeat an army of unsuspecting Hessian soldiers that were drunk because it was Christmas Eve... He refused to become King of America because he feared becoming tyrannical He supposedly chopped down a cherry tree and then told his father thus demonstrating his honesty He successfully survived a terrible winter at Valley Forge and made arguably the greatest army at that time in the entire Revolutionary War These are just a few now you decide which ones make him heroic.

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Nice job, @isry98 XD Couldn't of done better myself
