Need help with something (not school-related) Will give medal + fan please :) Okay so yes I had already learned about this and I forgot about it cause I didn't take notes (yes I know not smart of me). So its when you're writing a story and there's two main characters and each chapter is told my either one of them. Its like the book "Trading Faces" which they are twins and one chapter is told in the POV of one of them and the next is told in the POV of the other and back and forth. (it keeps going like that).
I want to know what that is called like what writing style/structure it is ^ I know its parallel (something) so I just identify it was parallel structure but when I look info online using that name nothing I am looking for comes up. Hope you can understand me anyway thanks in advance.
I'm not sure what the structure is called, or if even has a specific name, but did you try searching something like: "What is the structure of the story 'Trading Faces'"? :3 Maybe they have something on that? cx
This article seemed to touch on it somewhat, but it doesn't seem to put a name to the phenomenon that you are looking for. http://www.inspirationforwriters.com/techniques/pov.html
