one last question for the night, help!!! It's late and I'd like to sleep. Will fan and medal for help with this one!!!

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

OpenStudy (rational):

Intercept form of plane equation : \[\dfrac{x}{a} + \dfrac{y}{b} + \dfrac{z}{c}=1\]

OpenStudy (rational):

it is easy to eyeball intercepts from the given diagram

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

I'm confused @rational

OpenStudy (rational):

Look at the given diagram where does the plane cut x axis ?

OpenStudy (rational):

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

1

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

oh

OpenStudy (rational):

Yes so x intercept = a = 1 similarly b = 2, c = 3

OpenStudy (rational):

plug them in the equation : \[\dfrac{x}{1} + \dfrac{y}{2}+\dfrac{z}{3}=1\]

OpenStudy (rational):

multiply 6 through out to make it look nice

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

\[\frac{ x }{ 6 } + \frac{ y }{ 12 } + \frac{ z }{ 18 } \]

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

@rational ^^^

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I think he meant make the denominators all 6.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Like:\[\frac{x\times 6}{1\times 6}+\frac{y\times 3}{2\times 3}+\frac{z\times 2}{3\times 2}=\frac{1\times 6}{1\times 6}\]

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

@ganeshie8 Help needed x'D

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

@kittiwitti1 im so confused xD

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

btw is that aradia?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

>_> why? and why are you confused?
