WILL GIVE MEDAL AND FAN Identify the underlined portion of the following sentence. Cross-country skiing is one of the best cardiovascular activities (that you can do) A.)noun clause B.)adverb clause C.)subordinate clause D.)independent clause

@neonumbrella5115 please help!

OpenStudy (neonumbrella5115):

You can rule out D and A right away. "that you can do" isn't an independent sentence. You also can rule out A because "that you can do" isn't used as a person place or thing. Let's try C. Is "that you can do" being used to describe a verb, adjective, or other adverb?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say an adverb but I'm not sure @neonumbrella5115

OpenStudy (neonumbrella5115):

I think that's right! However, a adverbial clause is also a subordinate clause. But B is the best answer! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

woot! are you going to be on here for a while today? I may need some help later if you'd be willing to help?:)

OpenStudy (neonumbrella5115):

Yay! Ok! Good! :) lol
